Seoul shares open higher; POSCO, Hynix gain

SEOUL, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Seoul shares started higher on Monday, led by steelmakers and some technology firms, as gains in Wall Street helped sentiment amid signs of stabilisation in global financial markets.
At 0006 GMT, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index rose 0.25 percent to 1,576.36 points.
POSCO rose 1.15 percent and Hynix Semiconductor climbed 1.05 percent.
