PARIS, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and leading stories from French and Benelux newspapers which could have an impact on the region's markets or individual stocks.

VIVENDI


France's Vivendi on Friday gained control of Brazilian telecom company GVT for up to 4.12 billion reais ($2.39 billion), trumping Spain's Telefonica to gain a foothold in Latin America's biggest market.
Separately, General Electric Co and Comcast Corp have agreed on the structure of the board for the proposed joint venture with NBC Universal, a person familiar with the matter said.
GE and Comcast are unlikely to reach a deal on the venture this weekend, two people familiar with the matter said, as GE is still in talks with Vivendi SA to buy the French company's 20 percent stake in NBC Universal.

EDF


Cheung Kong Infrastructure (CKI) and Hongkong Electric said on Monday that they will spend 76 million pounds ($127 million) to increase their stakes in British gas distributor Northern Gas Networks.

VINCI


Enters in exclusive negotiations, with LOHR Industries, for a turn-key tramway project for Hoh Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The first phase of talks can last until June 30 and the contract could be worth 200 million euros.
