LONDON (Reuters) - The following is a round-up of a key small cap mover on the London Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Shares in Vero Software (VERO.L) rise 1.7 percent after company's strong first-half results and bullish outlook.
The supplier of CAD/CAM software to the mould and die sector posts a 23 percent jump in first-half pretax profits before exceptional costs and a 13 percent rise in its turnover. Vero says it has a positive outlook for the company in the longer term, despite a challenging economic environment.
WH Ireland says that the first-half figures put Vero on course to hit its full-year estimates of sales of 14.3 million pounds and pretax profits of 1.4 million pounds. The broker retains its "buy" recommendation.
