Don't know about Elena's XEL holding, but mine is not looking too sweet, or at least if I were a short termer looking to sell it would be looking decidedly "not too sweet", but that said if you are a buyer, I think it is looking good - shame I bought in at various levels above the current level. What is it they think their gooddies in tehground are worth, $1.36b or somthing like that, makes a joke of the current share price what ever. It's a waiting game. I only give you this because you asked.

What do I think of AMER by comparison - more assured returns in a shorter time frame. Why don't I pile wholey out of XEL into AMER? Good question:
- There's the old chestnut, I do not want to consolidate my losses by selling;
- There is diversification;
- I do think XEL will go big at some stage, (ignoring Paragauy for now) I think the multiple will be greater - but I agree the risk is too, I think it's down to financing;

No I sold at 23.47p last week. Reason I sold was because of wider market and impending Greece situation not because of AMER. A profit is a profit (and it was a good profit) and so far it looks to be the right decision. When things stabilise I shall return. How is your investment in XEL doing?

I sold out along time ago at 22p region and you criticised me for it.
In fact you were encouraging buying after the 30p region resistance held and AMER was in a retrace.
