Marco, i know exactly how you feel, and understand why you feel like that.

Sticking to shares, i also know you will try and second guess what the footpads of Euxton will try next, thats my reason for following the fortunes of this team, you know they will buy cheap and try to improve the worth then sell on.

Blackpool was a great example of how NOT to do it, none of the acquisitions that went with the tower had a penny spent on them apart from heritage grants, eventually they all went for buttons.

RBS took an awful lot of sheckels off our beloved leader which must have upset you enormously, never worry, our leader is not enjoying his riches, he has so many sharp operators and potential back stabbers on board his pirate vessel he has trouble sleeping. As you sow, so shall you reap.

Likewise Sportech, the F.T. Today highlights the break up of the WMH/PTEC partnership. I know for absolute certain, PTEC fancy taking over SPO and spiting WMH usa ambitions. i will keep my spo shares to benefit from this. By pontins

Where did this news come from pontins, I can't see any rns on the sportech board refering to options, but there again I'd expect nothing less from any company that TH had his grubby little fingers in. At what price were the options granted. In my opinion options in any company should be granted at least 25% higher that the current sp, that'll make directers pull their fingers out to get the sp up if they want to take advantage of them.
Re: Arrivederci Arena.

Mr G.
Yes indeed, your slant on it is positive, my problem with this is, the timing, Sportech has been a sloth for 4-5 years, secondly is the "form" of this ownership team.
The way Arena was put together then eventually "milked" was unpleasent, the rights issue in 2001 at £1.10p which was immediatly followed by wholesale director selling.
The last board was a puppet board, no talent, no brains, no honour, now you would hope, no job. but thats not the way this works, these clowns will find their way on to the Sportech gravy train.

Share owner ship is largely about, Trust; currently my trust in Sportech has been damaged, possibly, beyond repair, obviously Sportech has produced a great set of figures, but our main contribution comes from USA, this is never a good thing, it depends to an enormous extent on the ability of Penrose to carry on the way he is, for me, that is impossible.

These options were granted much to early in the evolution process and therefore look like the board profiterring on the back of shareholders, wether that is the case or not is unsettling and on the boards part, thoughtless. By pontins

Hi Pontins
Could that not be regarded as a positive if the board are looking to secure options at these low prices in anticipation of much higher prices down the line. Just asking the question because I intended looking at these following your mention but haven't yet looked in any depth, but I was wondering if a positive slant could be applied in this case.

I wrote on here a few days ago, that i was a buyer of 888 and sportech.

I am no longer suggesting that i or anyone else should get involved with sportech who have just revealed an incredible set of figures, albeit after years of debt and plunging share price.

The CEO, Ian Penrose has, to my certain knowledge, worked particularly hard at making sportech a success, almost weekly trips to America are a draining experience, and mean he leaves his family for long periods but needed to make sure the USA Aspect of SPO is focussed and profitable; all this excellant work and dedication has been destroyed by the selfish granting of a huge nuber of options to everybdy at SPO in high office.

Penrose, some, perhaps, but not at this stage of reconstruction, and most certainly none to the others, yet,,,

Lets see the improvements bedded in and consistency, then options.

This is Graham Parr type nonsense, selfish and cavalier, i am absolutely lived, this on top of my other main holding 888 who have just got shut of Gigi Levy who did his best to destroy 888.

888 is now repaired and looking fabulous 54p soonto be much more, Sportech???? i do not recommend anyone touches these, to much self interest, it happened at Arena and,,,,,,,,unfortunatly,,,,,,,,,its just happened at Sportech, it stinks. By pontins
