Opportunties / Potential

CRHL Market cap is tiny: £5.8m (667m * 0.01225).

GXY share price (0.62) * GXY shares owned by CRHL (38,091,616) = $23,616,802. Exchange rate of 1: 1.60361Investment in GXY worth = £14.73m

Also bear in mind what mgmt said in the last ops update (16/03/2012):

"Dr Zheng Yuewen, Executive Chairman & CEO, commented:

"The exploration results in 2011 bolstered our confidence about prospects of commercial value in the region. Entering into 2012, we are committed to continue delivering our exploration programme and at the same time, pursue exciting new joint venture opportunities with a number of leading mining companies. It has always been our goal to develop the exploration programmes in the Western Tasmania in a highly efficient and environmental friendly manner. To this end, we have been working closely with the Mineral Resources Tasmania ("MRT") with regards to our renewal of licences and recently strengthened our management team with the appointment of a number of experienced professionals. We are also pleased to have Creat Group's commitment to assist us in achieving our working capital forecast through to 31 March 2013.

As a part of our dual strategy, weare also pleased to see that in the last two years, our key strategic investment, Galaxy, has progressed steadily from a green field site to its completion of construction at both Mt. Cattlin and Zhangjiagang. Galaxy, which has a vertically integrated plan to service the increasing global demand for clean energy power sources, now owns the second largest hard rock lithium mine in the world and the largest battery grade lithium carbonate capacity in Asia Pacific. Theseremarkable achievements are evidence of Galaxy moving to a new period of growth and development."

Plenty of news to come and I expect it to be positive. This share can rise as quickly as it has fallen in recent times.... By forthelonghaul

Re: Shocking.

c6 - this is difficult...

Have not expected the SP to drop to these levels. The Tasmanian licenses have value - and should be by some margin. However, the company have bene taking their time with exploring and confirming data. They have opted to expand the programme as a result of the current crisis as the numbers from Tenth Legion alone wouldn't have counted for that much, given prices and the drop in demand. They have also gone in to get further rsults from previous drilling programmes. We don't know how signficant the numbers could be. But I do believe the time taken to get back to us is calculated. In my opinion, they are taking their time because in the current climate, makes no sense to try to rush things out. There is potentially a much bigger picture, with quite substantial set of data, reflecting a potential for developing a very profitable enterprise based upon this resource base...but we'll have to wait until the company is in a position to release the news.

I'm still invested. Have accepted that in the current climate, this is how it is for most companies on AIM. And have tried not to ghet too worried and to remain patient. If it's of any consolation, I'm in other shares where the wait's been even longer...

I do wonder if this is being purposely pushed down so that some one can get cheap shares. Either that, we / I must have missed something in my research. One thing in our favor is the lack of liquidity of the shares. Once buying starts the price should move quite quickly. Maybe once the price stops its downward movement it will be a great buying opportunity?

The share price is painful viewing and makes very little sense to me.

When will we hear news? I do not know but I would go with soon. We have not had news on the Tasmanian resources for a while now and the last update was relatively upbeat...

The value of the GXY investment is many multiples of the current market cap.

The value of the Tasmanian licences could be 10s of multiples of the current market cap. The area is rich with mining success stories and I fully expect CRHL to be one soon.

The market will wake up to this company, when I do not know. Until then, I hold.
I think along different lines = the Chairman could, at this minimal share price, finance and introduce a new project for Creat: thus making himself (and shareholders) a great deal of money......
So silly, TOPINFO, that I have written to the CEO (in kindly form) asking whether we have an interesting future: apart from Galaxy and efforts in Tasmania..... let's see whether and how the gentleman responds
The dilution of shares after the Lithium 1 amalgamation resulted in Creat's holding in Galaxy going from 11.78% to 10.56%. I have also seen on Galaxy's site that M & G investment fund have just increased their holding in Galaxy by 25 million shares. I would imagine that CRHL's share price has been deliberately reduced due to the lack of any substantial news and the hope that the mm's can get some shares cheaply. I certainly will not be selling and I will be looking to add to my already sustantial holding.
Hi guys been hearing good things about this share...if it's the case which i think it is then they own 10.56% of galaxy who have just raised $30m before costs...i don't know how much CRHL's 10.56% is worth at this moment but for Galaxy to raise that much is a good sign...also the merger between Galaxy and lithium one who has cash of 10m...all in all, looks good...anyone help with the value of Galaxy at the mo with out the funds and cash....will be buying 100k very soon....GLA!!!

Sounds about right drunken sailor, thanks. It was inevitable that CRHL's shareholding was going to be diluted when GXY, the entity, has become so much bigger as a result of the merger and placement. A GXY Director bought a good chunk of GXY stock last night.
The value of the investment in GXY has not changed that much... and makes the current share price look all the more ridiculous. So much news to come, especailly from Tasmania.

Checked the figures. Post merger and capital raising there will be around 511m Gxy shares in issue. CRHL will still have 38m therefore will be diluted by the merger to about 7.5%. By virtue of not taking part in the placing they have already been diluted to 10.5%.

I thought that I had read that the dilute would go from somewhere in the 11% region to somewhere in the 10% region? Where does it state a dilute of 6%?? I think we all need to check the details again - a less than 2% dilute is well worth getting involved with Lithium One - such a small dilute (if my numbers are correct) should not have had such a negative affect - but more a positive one. It will only be positive though once it is completed in my eyes - the same with any merger etc - just look at the Glencore numbers whilst that is still hanging around un completed.
Thanks for that FTHL.
When the merger was proposed, a poster (ROCDOC) published the merger document over on LSE which showed that CRHL held a massive chunk of the shares in Lithium One.
Little has been said of it since
As for the market being wrong with the CRHL s/p. The Galaxy holding and the value of it, has been shouted long and hard and has been rewarded with a painful drift in the price.
Makes a chap wonder if there are unknown unknowns lurking behind the scenes.
Hopefully. With Galaxy in production and the merger seemingly getting the nod, things will begin to improve. GLA. By character 6
