Cancellation of London listing

The financial dip-st1cks who run this company and decided that the effort and costs of listing in London were of little value, have managed to reduce the market value of the company by a quarter, at a stroke.
I can't believe they just did this - the reaction was obviously not expected - but did they ask anyone ? at all ? anywhere outside of the CFO's office ?

My cleaner would have told them the market will react badly. He is not that smart - obviously.

Good job my holding is small (thanks to the Parthus fiasco). I'd be really miffed if I held a lot of shares. By stout-hart

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate SOLD

All sold through redmayne, they got just over £16 a share. They charge an admin fee and a transaction fee, about £40. But the good thing is they are now sold and rid of, I took a loss of course, but at least I can invest the proceeds elsewhere with a view to recovering some of the losses. You live and learn.
Good luck all holders. By Soolaimon

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate

I'm impressed by your success. Some years back when Parthus became Ceva and moved its operations and listings to the USA, my broker sent me the share certs, as they no longer could trade them. I then did contact Capita, who only recommended I contact their registrar in the USA, who never replied.
My broker (Selftrade) did sell off most of them just before all this. I have kept a few certs, and annually vote against their Board and accepting the accounts, in protest in how they abandoned their shareholders in the UK and Ireland.
I suspect the dealing charges would swallow up any proceeds I might gain if I sold them now.

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate

Just to let anyone who is interested know I am currently using Redmayne Bentley to sell these shares. They have to transfer your certificated holding into their nominee account before they can trade the shares. The whole process takes about 4 weeks. I had a call from a local office so you don't have to use the Leeds office, although this is where I made the initial contact. I have been informed that they will not sell the shares without contacting me first to approve the price. Once you have downloaded the forms off the Redmayne site, and completed them it all sounds fairly straightforward afterwards. By Soolaimon

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate

Hello once more Afrenman. I got confirmation this lunchtime from Capita IRG that my Parthus Ceva certificate IS valid!! If wanting to sell they suggested using the services of Redmayne Bentley in Leeds.
I think I may hold awhile given how well Ceva has been
performing and the fact that markets generally could look even better in the next few months.
And shame about the appallingly-wide spread quoted in UK bwith bid at $10 and buy at £13(?). Hope the above helps and best regards. By dyfiman

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate

Good morning again Afrenman.
I was delighted to read your last post as it seems concrete proof
that share certificates with the Parthus bit still on are perfectly valid even now. It leaves me (and you and others) with the choice of selling up for a few hundred pounds or holding on as Ceva is doing so well across in US.
From a selling point; on the share certificate itself, it says under the company name that the shares are transferable at the offices of "CAPITA IRG IN THE UNITED KINGDOM". Am about to do a google search to see what's what.
May I thank you again for your effort in finding the information and sharing it.
My very best regards once more, Phil, Cardiff. By dyfiman

Re: Parthus Ceva Certificate

Hi
From the News/2003 tab i found this:

In conjunction with the change of corporate name, the ticker symbol for the company's common stock will change to "CEVA" on The NASDAQ National Market and " CVA" on the London Stock Exchange. The new ticker symbols are expected to become effective on or about December 8. The new CUSIP number for our common stock will be 157210 10 5; the new ISIN will be US1572101053; and the company's new website address will be www.ceva-dsp.com. Holders of stock certificates bearing the name "ParthusCeva, Inc." may continue to hold them and will not be required to exchange them for new stock certificates or take any other action.

Shall keep looking.
