Charimans statement from last RNS

2010 was a year of good progress as we significantly developed our non-music related administration business. This business has seen a growth in demand as prospective clients seek a cost-effective fixed rate means to manage their secondary and ancillary rights. Notable contract wins included US based media giant Comcast, Proctor & Gamble and French animation studio Alphanim. However, by the close of 2010 these new agreements had yet to produce significant revenue. This delay in revenue was anticipated and is a result of the registration process and the fact that most of the collection societies operate a year or more in arrears. We are confident that these clients together with the others signed in 2010 will produce significant levels of revenue in future.

The revenue within teh Music industry works 12 months in arrears...so with it ebing July and the fact that they knw what is coming the last line in the statement makes it a viable proposition in my view.

Any longer term holders have a view? By MANCHESTER2009

Re: Under the radar...

Well I've had some very interesting conversations today.....

In a nutshell...

the sp substantially under values the business...

current mkt cap £0.5m

in 2010 they purchased "kids loves music" for around $1m...

other assets exceed £3m....

the move into mainstream media rights is starting to "bear fruits"

50% of stock is held by 3 people, all of which have and continue to support the vision..

Predators potentially lurking in the back ground but with stock so tightly held, any exposure to a cheap takeover isnt an issue, but ultimately its the shareholders decision at the end of the day..

Business is growing and the results going forward will reassure stock holders that CXM is a company worthy of investment..
How long would it take the mm's to fill that order with no volume ??
With no update to entice new investors either, I'd say quite awhile..

Re: Under the radar...

Certainly is under the radar. Taken a punt on this myself today and it is a punt based on the information available. Results and trading update should be interesting as the news on the website seems to be positive and it won't take much to make this company profitable and cash positive. Its not without risks but if the lender continues to be supportive (likely given the lack of tangible assets to sell in the instance of administration) we should be onto a winner.

Opening new offices earlier this year bodes well for the future as this indicates that the company has suitable finance in place for expansion. We'll have a much clearer idea of where the company is heading by month end. By Cash rich asset poor

It seems the company is sound they just need to sort out the press side of their operation to become a little more shareholder focused.
