Broker Note

Douglasbay Capital (LON:DBAY) -
FY10 result and buyback
Apr 14th 2011 - Edison Investment Research

today published a report on Douglasbay Capital (DBAY.L, LSE:DBAY, LON:DBAY) entitled "FY10 Result And Buyback". In summary, the report says:

DouglasBay Capital (DBAY) is a management story, with the investment case predicated on the highly profitable exit and return – 30% plus IRR – achieved on the sale of its investment in logistics group TDG to Norbert Dentressangle, which completed in April. Under DBAY’s stewardship, TDG emerged as a much lower-geared, higher-margin business due to the success of a range of operational initiatives rolled out in the two years since the acquisition. All but £0.1m of FY10 turnover related to TDG, and DBAY has allocated up to £200m of the £208m received from the sale to a tender offer to buy back up to 1.23bn ordinary shares at 16.35p/share.

Quietest bb board ?

1 post in a year. Active bb or what?

I thought they owned TDG and are busy stripping it of owned land assets by selling propery to Douglas Bay and leasing back, then using the cash to reduce the debt loaded in to TDG from their purchase.
