Re: Continuing slide

Not worried about cash right. Chairman would not have invested £200k at 2p. Directors only themselves £60k per annum unlike most AIM companies. The debt is long term at not a bad rate. They have a cash burn of 40k,max 50k per month and the 2k payments for this year are around 850k. The reason for the share price slide has been the slow progress at Luton where they bought the wrong kit for grinding the plastic. Foresight have pumped more cash in to sort out the problem. By now we had been expecting a number of other sites to pop up across UK and Europe however these licensees have been waiting to see luton fully operational.

I haven't had a look at the WH Ireland research note produced last month which had a 3.4p price target but apparently said had plenty of room for upgrades as more plants/products come on stream.

IMHO BOD took their foot of the pedal last year and assumed with flatsheet it was a homerun. The current CEO has not exactly done a good job and the best thing he has done is get Lee Clayton on board as he is a driven, hands on guy according to people in the industry.
Long term it probably is but as we know 2k changed business model from using pre-prepared plastic to trying to sort their own to drive margin.Luckily the PIM part of the process is fine.

Lee Clayton wouldn't have joined from a cushy job at Viridor unless he thought it worked. By biofarmer

Re: Continuing slide

Well thats just verging on the ridiculous. Need we not forget that in March Ken added £200k of his own cash. This is by far the largest purchase he has made in the history of this share. Therefore you have to wonder why he took the plunge Q1 2012. He will be privy to undercurrent of interest that is not fact and therefore required to be released as RNS. I say it will pay this year. I never for a minute thought it would reach this price however. Im average at 2.9p and I thought this was being patient. Top up and tuck away is my advice. My other view has always been with this share that they are not set up to run it for the long term and is therefore likely that an eventual buy out is on the cards. My guess on price is 10p which may be underselling the opportunity but we do need to face facts that the current set up can only take the technology and opportunity so far. A big set up is required to maximise the potiential. These are all my views only and happy for considered responses. By ImpartialOpinion

Re: Continuing slide

We cant attribute the share price slide to the overall decline in the market - the market has been booming over the last few months, whereas this one has been crashing over the same period. Clearly the share price should follow the market to some extent, but this one hasnt been doing that. Rather this is doing a 'facebook'! Investors/traders are obviously not happy with the company at present. The lack of news flow and publicity from the company and broker is disappointing and no new deals aswell. The business in terms of shareholder engagement and satisfaction is very poorly managed by those in charge. By Surrey0

The amounts are very low in monetary terms. We are just in a void awaiting news. Despite silence the company I think have a lot of real interest and LC impact will start to show through in the coming weeks.
Hopefully he can help 2k get to full production sooner rather than later.it would be beneficial to enrt if this happens before year end as this is when the minimum royalty(around 850k this year) comes to an end.

To sum up markets and no new news. I think we will see a lot of new contracts in H2. By biofarmer

My contribution is the easy one - no visible catalyst in this market to change the status quo. With markets falling and as they are, the question is why invest in ENRT when there are quite a few share certainties to increase in value? ENRT's time will come (hopefully) but without the catalyst RNS (probably / possibly) not now in these markets - but who knows what tomorrow. Live in hope.

Surryo I can't agree with you on Director's buy. No Director puts a large sum into the company for any reason other than to increase that sum.Only exception being the " Buy in, price goes up,get out quick merchant". This is clearly not the case here.
My personal view is that deals will be done during the next year or so and the SP will rise accordingly. Otherwise, why has Lee Clayton left a good position in a well established organisation?

Director probably only put in his money to try and boost the share price and try and keep a few very grumpy shareholders quiet - not working at the moment. I would hate to return to the lows seen a couple of years ago, but we are not very far off that now!
Complaints of an 8p-10p takeover last year - I would accept 5-6p now just to claw back some losses and get out of this poor investment. By Surrey0

The problem is that from any angle this share looks like it has further to fall! The chart is horrible - and there is no sign of any change to the downward trend.
I hate to say it, as my average is 4.81, but some serious newsflow will be needed to get this share to go in the right direction - and there seems to be no action from the company at all. By Bikes Boats and Planes

It's a real shame for Enrt 2k didn't stick with the pre-prep model as Luton would have been at full capacity now at a fraction of the cost. 2k unfortunately for us have looked at a 10 year cash-flow model and not a 2 year one.
The important think is it works and there is a massive Market for the product.

Re: More Plastic recycling news

Getting feedstock at the right price has always been the key once the process itself was shown to work. This is what led to delays at 2K who changed from buying in ready made pellets in the original plan to sorting raw material on site at their factory. They didn't have the expertise for that and this put the whole project back for months although it did cut their input costs eventually.
All plastics are bulky for their weight and the biggest single cost for mixed plastic, is transport. That is why the 2K model of receiving input from a 15 mile or so radius is probably the right way to go for any enterprise.
Incidentally I was at a (small) recycling plant last week and was very surprised when the owner showed me his plastic recycling operation. This consisted of recovered plastic film removed from the carboard packaging that they collect from local businesses. He sells this on to a local manufacturer for £150 / tonne. It is used to manufacture carrier bags and such like. By musker ron

You have hit the nail on the head. It is the supply of feedstock that has been the issue- nothing to to with PIM. Very frustrating for ENRT but think 2k are on the comeback trail...
