Re: 2007 warrant cdi excercise form

I guess your holding of 50 warrents is not even worth of 1 (one) share.
Your present holding (shares) must have been converted from warrents a few years ago.
The remaining 50 warrents could not be converted into even one whole share if one share is equivalent to 76 warrents (as for example). If 50 warrents equal to one whole share then you are entiltled for one full share. If so, then better forget it in view of commission, efforts.
One share is worth of £6.45. By realreal

Re: 2007 warrant cdi excercise form

I had my form in on Saturday -- basically you have the option to subscribe to new GETS shares -- in proportion to the number of Warrants you hold.
You can either round up to a higher number of shares -- or round down to a lower number. You have to pay£10 (in addition to subscription amount) to cover the amount of money required for the fraction of the additional share -- they will refund the difference.
It is complicated -- but if you read the form a couple of times -- all will become clear.
Best of Luck

Re: Price spreads.....?????

I have raised this point before. Does anyone have any answers or reasons even?
We were not informed that we would be so disadvantaged when it was swiched to the French bourse.
Or is this French perfidy as distinct from the usual Albion kind?
I have long since given up on these shares as a serious investment but I have had them so long and they have cost me so much money that they are now like old friends. Only death will separate me from them.

Re: Eurotunnel Shares from 14 years ago?

"I bought shares in Eurotunnel about 14 years ago and i still have the share certificate somewhere in the house will these still be valid or has something happened over the years and its now void?"

If I were you I'd have the certificates framed, makes a nice conversation piece.

I bought at launch and (even dumber) several rights issues.
My holding is currently worth around 300 euros. It paid a 1st dividend last year. It wasn't worth depositing the cheque.

Price spreads.....?????

Has anyone noticed that the spread on this share regularly seems to be about 40%..??????? ie, 5.0p to sell, and about 8.45p to buy?
This seems absolutely ludicras....presumably because most shareholders are now French...so trading here in the UK is pretty minimal?
Any ways of getting something done about this...?
Presumably Eurotunnel dont think its worth listing on London market.
Curious that one of our biggest infrastructure businesses cant find house room on our trading floors.
And I see they`ve lost over half there value in the past three years, down from about 16 Euros.
When they launched they traded at about £3.50p...and I seem to recollect they dropped to about 70p at one point (not far of a euro).
I guess the 40 for 1 conversion then gave them a value of about 40 Euros...so the value has actually dropped to about 20% of that.
My recollection of time scales and precise numbers is a little hazy...

Anyone see any positives in this story..apart from the fact that they havent gone bust, despite some horroble disasters. By weblogic
