over reaction.....perhaps,....
Release had positive new news of support from banks....
However it would help if the company could demonstrate profitably on its contracts....
The RNS indicates they will make a ?positve profit, which if this is after finance charges is helpful for a sale...
The uncertainty in outcome of the "over cost" orders is very unhelpful...uncertaintly and risk is bad for the ultimate sale value...

Read the comments on LSE...may be little equity left for shareholders. Debt is up and exceptional costs likely re tooling problem. Banks keeping company afloat and no chance of equity issue at this price. I'm not saying it can't be turned around or that final t/o price may be higher than 3p (if there is a takeover offer) but this is now high risk imo...however, a day traders dream aka gmg recently...good luck holders By Cleevelodge

Complete over reaction

Complete over reaction to the news over night. Nothing that we didn't already know. The most important thing is can they sell the group for more than the £55m of debt? I would have thought so. Of course the board are going to lose their jobs when they sell the group off, so no real incentive for them to drive a hard deal and get the very best!
Re: Sunday Times...Jon Moulton

I wish I had an idea what price he would be willing to offer. All I know is the directors all pilled in and purchased chunks of shares between 2.85-3.5p so I personally feel comfortable buying at this 4p level with the comfort the board are not far behind the at the lower level. Recent price performance of 7-9p would prob be a level the board would open discussions... Below that I'd expect a hostile take-over! By Paza75

That would be good as I am in at 4p, however I think it unlikely unless there are two or more potential bidders. Jon Moulton is a very clever guy and at the moment he would have them over a barrel as the £56m of debt needs to be funded by the banks and it looks like they are not wanting or willing to co-operate on that, judging by the Interim Statement.
Re: vultures are circling

Hopefully we will get some sort of update by the end of March? Will the company be able to update the market during its closed period April/May? Looking at the debt convenants, EBITBA ratio to debt falls from 3.2 to 2.6 in the September quarter, so that could be the date company may breach lending terms IMO. Gives them 6 months to sort out banking facilities, or to sell part/all of the company so perhaps BOD decided to move before it was too late? By Cleevelodge

All the announcements so far are from existing holders with more than 1% of the stock. None of them have announced a short position yet.

anyone holding more than 1% (just under 3 million shares) and buying, selling or shorting have to notify by the end of the next business day, so I'm waiting till next week to see if any of the big holders start selling before I jump myself, and if none of them start selling I'll hold and hope for a bit of a bounce if/when bidders are announced.
