"The Board is in advanced negotiations for the acquisition and financing of additional assets in the United States. The Company has signed a non-binding letter of intent to purchase significant oil and gas production and development assets. It has received indicative terms on financing the proposed acquisition from two major financial institutions and is in discussions with one other.
The Board, led by the newly appointed Executive Chairman Robert Bensh, remains committed to advancing the Company. It is the Company's intention, at this stage, to apply for a re-listing if the transaction is completed.
In the meantime, the Company intends to keep shareholders advised of new developments in the Company's business by disclosing material information to shareholders through its website.
Irvine Executive Chairman Robert Bensh said, "We continue to make progress in securing additional assets and the associated funding required to take the Company forward and secure its future. I appreciate that shareholders will be disappointed by our delisting but our intention remains to relist the Company and to create value for our shareholders."

I am back from my break and would like to thank everyone for the messages of support. I have decided to take this further and would like to get as much support as possible to try to get 2 directors on to the board (myself and A N Other) to see what can be done to relist the company, specifically with the existing shareholders interests in mind. I have set up an email – ivesharegroup@gmail.com – and ask any shareholders who wish to support me to let me have your name, email address and share holding and I will see if we can get sufficient support to approach the company – I may need some more details at a later stage but for now this should be sufficient. Also please spread the word! Do bear in mind that the company may already be a lost cause but I am prepared to have a go and see what can be achieved but please keep the expectation level to a minimum. I have 600,000 shares here, and would like to see something happen. I would much rather see some sort of resurrection, rather than a complete closure of the company. But this 'limbo' state is not sensible. Glenman's approach seems worth supporting.
