Re: What's going to move the price?

I agree with your frustration over this and Oilex.
The markets are abysmal and dont look like recovering yet, especially with a couple of those US mortgage companies , Fanny may and some other stupid name doing enormous damage to the financial set up, who knows when they will recover, in the meantime we will just have to hope that NOP is doing something other than meeting in the boardroom of brokers and having fantastic lunches, agreeing to be joint brokers amid great celebration and are actually doing something to enhance the position of this company being an oil and gas exploration company, because as it stands now it is laughable.
What's going to move the price?

Next drilling of any consequence is, I believe, going to be Savio within the next 3 months - 'dependent upon rig availability'. Other than that, I guess the only thing that will move the price is if they can secure partners for some offshore drilling, and that could happen at any time. Any partners are going to need deep pockets or their own rig, as rig availability is very tight and the price per day is anything from $100,000 to $500,000; so we're not going to see NOP drilling in any water that comes over the knees.
Hmmm,
Yes still with Oilex, though a little dissapointed with drilling results.
Although it is much better at doing things than NOP.
Oilex had money to drill and went into an aggressive drilling phase, hopefully it will still come good.
NOP have the money but couldnt fart aggressively if they tried.
I still hold these in the hope that something will happen or someone gives them a kick up the backside.

According to the NOP website OTTOLAND has been reworked and production capacity established and they have applied (in 2007) for a production permit (he application covers not only the Ottoland field development but also Andel-6 (recently renamed Wijk en Aalburg) and Brakel).

"The production plans for the six fields forecast total initial production of 3900 barrels of oil equivalent per day (1750 barrels of oil equivalent per day net to Northern), with first production planned for late 2008 or early 2009. The production may increase following further revisions for Grolloo and Geesbrug and is prior to initiation of a second phase of development activities once production data has been analysed." By booming
