Has the fall been overdone? - the last update was pretty good. Yes the gold price is down a bit and the markets are generally a bid dodgy but does PGL deservce this drubbing?? As you say Alpha I don't know why the directors don't seem bothered about the fall, some of them have shares purchased at well above 40p, why aren't they buying now.

It's one to keep an eye on, I will have to do some research in to when I think the new plant will kick in. It's a long term hold I'd say and pray that the POG starts to rise again! Looks like news is due by the end of this month (end of Q1 2012)

- commissioning of new crushing and milling circuit remains scheduled for Q1 2012

- JORC compliant resource update for Tersang expected to be reported Q1 2012

- Raub resource updated expected end of Q1 2012

In terms of the new plant this is expected to increase capacity from 1.2m tonnes pa to 2mtpa. Last years production was 16,649 oz gold, this is expected to rise to around 27Koz with the new plant.

Could this be the time that this share starts to move in the right direction (up!). Will be interesting to see how things pan out over the next few weeks...

I suppose I could help myself if I bothered to work out what percentage of the share capital is actually in circulation. A visit to the Minesite website might help me here.

As i have said (for many companies not just this one) I am still amazed by the lack of interest of larger investors who have shareholdings a couple of orders of magnitude greater than mine! I'll sit this one out for a while and if nothing much happens throw the money at MWA another of my less than successful holdings but probably with better prospects.
