They have good products for sure, and a promising management team, just perhaps too small to make much of a noise...but...they do have takeover appeal...

New Contracts





SCOTTY is pleased to announce the award of three new contracts.



The first contract is for delivery of nine SCOTTY ProMin video and data conference units. These units will be used in hospitals on-board German Navy vessels to allow the ship's medical officer to consult remotely with the headquarters' naval hospital via satellite. The doctors on board can receive "live support" for medical investigations or can deliver locally-generated patient data (for example x-rays and ECGs) to the naval hospital for further investigation. The system is fully encrypted and uses proven SCOTTY data transfer software for high speed performance and network access to the land based data server.



The contract also includes the delivery of sixteen SCOTTY videoconferencing upgrade kits (SCOTTY Z470 videocodec and SCOTTY Teleporter application software) to be installed on land-based medical PC stations within the German Navy's medical network.



The second contract is for delivery of a number of satcom aero antenna sets through NATO procurement, to be installed on CH-53 helicopters used in NATO missions. The procurement is an add-on to the existing CH-53 installations, which have been operating in mission environments since 2006.



The total value of these two contracts is approximately 600,000 Euros and is for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2011.



The third contract is for the provision of Inmarsat satellite services and billing for the whole fleet of CH-53GS helicopters within the German Army for a period of three years. The contract includes the support of helicopters on missions, covering the functionality of SCOTTY Satcom units and the operation of the Inmarsat Service. SCOTTY is a partner of Inmarsat and a fully registered Inmarsat Service Provider. The contract is worth 70,000 to 100,000 Euros per annum and monthly invoicing has now commenced.



SCOTTY's Chief Executive Officer, Kurt Kerschat, commented: "These contracts are further proof of SCOTTY´s ability to provide long-term maintenance and satcom service-provider services and underlines the Company's vision of giving maximum support and satisfaction to our customers' daily operations.
