FAO Moon

Congrats on the good week.

For what it's worth, you come across as a good trader. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what your strategy or opinion is in this game, all that matters is whether or not you make money, and from following your posted trades this week I'd say you make plenty of that. Strangely, in the world of the financial markets, you can be right and still lose money, so it's the making of it that counts. Your swing trading strategy isn't a lot different from mine when I started out... it seems you go mostly by feel, almost as if you can sense resistance and support levels by watching the markets constantly. I used to trade using 5 minute charts in basically the same way. The only difference being that I got burned badly when an eventual lack of discipline led to a substantial loss of capital, hence the strictness of my strategy these days and my preference of greater risk/reward ratios. Large risk/reward ratios are few and far between in short time frames, but if you can make it work then good on you... it just means you need to be right more often.

What annoys me sometimes is seeing people repeatedly making the same mistakes and not learning from them, i.e., shorting highs. However, I realise that just because your opinion is that the market should be falling doesn't necessarily mean that you have a position in the market to that effect. Infact I realise now that this probably isn't the case with you at all.

Anyway, have a good weekend and enjoy your profits. By Glesga Kiss
