Not much information out there to make an educated guess. In advfn bb I thought it may be a delisting coming up, but having thought about it I no longer think it is a deliting.

I think it must be a shareholder enhancing corporate activity....agin just a guess. By Phil01

davydoo,

I fully expect the major share holder to release some shares into the market to improve liquidity once the shares has reached a reasonable level...about 10p onwards.

With so many irons in the fire .. he would be daft to let go shares at this level. Growing TO, profits and near certainity double digit growth for the foreseable future.

The quarry ... is worth over £60Million on its own, once they turn their attention to it. I think their financial stregth will be in good shape to tackle that in about 2 years.

I am still accumulating if shares become available. I have taken the opportunity of some sells last month to add over 300K shares between Aug 5th and 1st Sept. I was able to pick these up between the ranges 1.75p and 1.85.

This is one share that I am confident enough to keep accumulating as funds permits.

Very strong results as I expected, and further growth in sales and profits is already there due to all the additional barges that have come on during the period and post period end.

Phil I think the biggest concern for most would be the presence of such a major holder. If you plan to add more you will have to be very tactical. I bought another 25,000 today, but that's because that was all the stock that was available. By davydoo

Not really sure why this is still under most peoples rather ...possible suffering from the sentiments inherited from the company's previous history.
I have a fair few of these and will be accumulating as funds permits.

Re: Prospects of YGH - Question

The annual reports are very good, i would start there.

In short they have 3 main assets;

Barges, ships that carry containers
Port facilities
And rather oddly 70% of an unused quarry/mine

They are spending profits to expand the port facilities, and are taking on new larger barges as leases. The mine may be sold or they may find a JV partner to exploit it.

Oh and they're based at the heart of asian trade, hows that for a great asset????

Easy to be put off by the spread, but you can trade within in spread usually, and if you were put off when spread was 0.85-1.3 then you wouldnt be benefitting now from 1.75-2.25, and do you want to be saying the same thing when its 3.0-3.5?

Activity is low, because the free float is small, there is a 93% shareholder, then lots of us small players, but for me thats a good thing, if anyone wants volume here the price will surge to shake out enough sellers. By davydoo
