Register for free now and access a wealth of information and tools.
Step 2
Apply for a share dealing account. This should take less than 10 minutes.
Step 3
Activate your account by entering your temporary password and additional security questions. You are now ready to trade.
Step 4
You can fund your account by debit card (cleared funds transfer immediately) or by transferring existing holdings (see separate page for more information on how to transfer). Go to 'Manage My Account' and select money transfer.
Step 5
There are lots of ways to buy/sell your shares.
1. If you already have a portfolio set up on Interactive Investor, you can simply click on the 'Buy/Sell' link.
2. If you know the name of the stock you wish to purchase, put the name in the Research Shares button on the Share Dealing home page.
Step 6
Once purchased, the shares will immediately appear in a live account called My Holdings.
