A quick guide to getting set up on the new platform

Getting set up for your new interactive investor platform will take between five and ten minutes. You’ll need your:

  • Mobile phone for security validation (you'll need the mobile that is registered to your account). If you do not have a mobile phone number, please call us on 0345 607 6001.

  • Bank details if you wish to set up a direct debit.

    Below you'll find the set-up process laid out step-by-step, so you know what to expect.

    1.) When you click to sign in for the first time (available from the sign in page or from in your secure messages), you will land on this page. Enter your username (if you've forgotten it, follow the forgotten username journey).

    2.) The next step will be to set up your password. You will need your phone for this stage. Enter the last four digits of your mobile number and we'll send a code to your phone.

    3.) Enter the code into the box on screen:

    4.) You will then be able to set your password. Your account login password must be between 8 and 12 characters, contain at least one upper case character, one lower case character and one numerical digit. The password is also case sensitive and no special characters are permitted. You can use the same password as before if it meets this criteria.

    5.) Next, choose some security questions, from a long list of options, and their answers.

    6.) Once they are done, you will be asked to set-up a dealing password (this needs to be different to your login password). It is used as an additional security measure before you withdraw cash. You also have the option to use it before you place a trade:

    7.) Finally, check all your personal details are complete and correct. We need to ensure these are all up-to-date so that you can continue trading once your account becomes available on the new platform.

    That’s it. That’s everything you have to do to start trading. You can choose to set up a Direct Debit and get ready to trade internationally too, if you wish.
