Transferring existing personal pensions to your SIPP
Transfer Authority - instruction to your existing provider.
Please note that a transfer -in fee applies to the transfer of an existing pension or SIPP.
Where the pension being transferred includes Defined or Safeguarded Benefits please read the Defined and Safeguarded Benefits Guidance notes and include with your Transfer Authority:
Contributing to your SIPP:
Contributions form - cash contribution from you and/or your employer
Contributions Guide - a guide to paying in to your SIPP
Direct Debit authority - regular cash contributions from you, your employer or a third party. A seperate form is required for each contributor.
In Specie Contributions form - transferring existing investments as a contribution to your SIPP. (This facility is currently unavailable while HMRC conduct an industry-wide review of the process.)
Carry Forward Contributions form - to accompany any of the above where you are using past year annual allowances
Drawing your Pension Benefits:
Upon receipt of this we'll prepare an illustration showing what your pension income would be based on your stated requirements and send you a Commencement of Pension Benefits form so you can confirm your choices.

As part of the process for getting your SIPP up and running, we'll ask you to provide some details so that we can provide you with an illustration of how your pension fund might grow, based on the contribution you may make and any transferred pension plan. For those in drawdown, it will show the effect of income drawdown in your pension fund. We'll provide a link to completing your illustration as part of the account opening process.
