The Directors of Cellcast also wish to provide an update on current trading. Following the introduction of the new supplier agreement earlier this year, details of which were announced on 27 July 2017, the Company has been trading profitably at the operating profit level, based on unaudited management accounts. In addition, the online segment of the business has been performing well.
The Directors are pleased with the trading performance of the Company in the second half of the year to date and are optimistic about the prospects for the next financial year.
Looks like something happening here, directors bought recently and large over hang is cleared and relocation completed to Milton Keynes, very low valuation could jump big time on eve n small positive news.
Business currently valued at near book value which is a small positive. Too many other negatives though and just sitting it out waiting for some positive news. I notice that cellcast are trading from Beirut (cellcast ME) and offering marketing services. Does anyone know anything about them? According to 2011 Annual Report they are not a subsidiary yet they use the same logo etc. They have a Facebook page but their website is under reconstruction.
Davy - given you major shareholding it would be great if you could share some insights with us.
ValiRx's GeneICE technology has been developed for silencing rebellious genes, which cause conditions such as cancer and various neurological problems. The 'sarcomas' or soft tissue cancers could also be targeted by the drugs being developed by VALiRx
Imperial College, University of London, has been working in collaboration with ValiRx and is currently carrying out the late pre-clinical development of ValiRx's lead therapeutic, VAL101 with funding awarded from the Eurostars scheme. The company announced that stability and toxicology studies are currently underway. The production of the VAL101 compound is going to plan and has been optimised and simplified, which by extension makes the compound cheaper to produce, thereby adding future value.

Very good summary Lemming, the removal of that put option from Canaan is enormous and not fully understood I believe, I think price falls have been because of a persistent seller, although there has been no declarations to is effect yet, but volumes suggest to me it must be an existing major holder.
So Cellcast have managed to wriggle themselves out of the sticky prediciment with the venture capitalists with their Indian side. It looked like it was going to end in a sorry state if they wanted their cash back. I guess also that people have been second guessing that it would end in tears and so accounted for the big price fall thoughout the year. Well now Cellcast are looking pretty damn smug now, with a pocket full of cash as well to boot. I'd would'nt be surprised at a buyout by one of their competitors in the UK as they are debt free and got a lot of channels which must worth a bit. Any Views ?

Cellcast Interactive India Pvt Ltd
What does it do: It develops integrated participation content for the mobile and interactive television market. Its services enable broadcasters, content developers and media ventures, besides telecom firms, to respond to demand for services around the convergence of television, information technology and telecom.
Investors: Canaan Partners
Likely exit: IPO or M&A
Why it is hot: With mobile phones fast becoming an all purpose, interaction device for consumers across the globe, demand for and use of interactive digital entertainment is on the rise. Cellcast is one of the very few direct-to-consumer VAS (value-added service) models. We have a feeling that this model will scale up very well in future, says Mittal of Canaan Partners.
The paragraph about Funding looks hopeful, with positive cashflow, loan repaid, etc. I'm not topping up because I counted 2 "challenges" and 2 "chellanging"s. I'd much rather find a company that reported increased eps with little effort from management.
Dr : Only what has been said on other BB. I believe he is businessman and run Electronic Cigarette company. I believe he was looking to buy large stake in CLTV and there was some chat he was trying buy out Niel Craven stake, but no idea what happened but he certainly increase his stake as we know from RNS.
Dr : I agree with u regarding late results but looking back at CLTV history they always have announced late for some reason, i.e results announced dates for previous years are 4/4/06, 4/5/07, 27/6/08, 9/6/09, 3/6/10. Lets see what do we get this time around. Keeping fingers crossed. On positive note Two Major shareholders Guy Thomas and Jason Cropper (Kiop from other BB) have been adding recently, lets hope they know something more than us which hopefully help all of us.
Thanks Jazzy. Always nervous when results get delayed - experience has shown it's usually bad news rather than good....... so I am not expecting too much but secretly hoping we have some great results / news. Good luck. Doc
Doc : Yes they have to release results between now and end of June. Here what someone from other BB board mentioned:-

"The Company's investment in CAH continues to be cash neutral - we have no
funding obligations to CAH".
Funding (This for CLTV Only)
A combination of the strong cash flow arising from the successful implementation
of our new distribution capacity and the negotiation of improved credit terms from certain television bandwidth and telephony providers has enabled the Company to dispense with its GBP450,000 factoring facility. The Company's remaining borrowings at 30 June 2010 were a GBP100,000 bank overdraft on a GBP150,000 overdraft facility and the GBP200,000 Headstart loan of which a GBP65,000 repayment was made in July with the balance due to be repaid before the end of the year. Having reviewed the forward cash flows for the remainder of the year, the directors are confident that the Company has sufficient financial resources and that the preparation of the interim accounts on a going concern basis is appropriate.
The publication in June by Ofcom of its PTV3 Consultation which came into effect on 1st September 2010 has set out a viable regulatory regime for the Group's activities. It removed the very significant uncertainties that have hung over the business for the duration of the 3 year consultation. This has allowed us to better plan and invest for the future.
With the full implementation of additional distribution capacity, the Company anticipates continued year-on-year growth in revenue and a continuation of operating profitability in the UK. July and August continued the positive trend of the preceding three months, generating a positive return and cash flows.
CAH also continued to trade profitably in July and August.
Nobody else here holds or held them and neither do i after todays results which is not what i was hoping for, Cah was poor and their valuation means there's better places for my money, still made a nice profit on them.
I might gamble a small amount on Cellcast. I appreciate much that management has done, but am concerned about this, about Cellcast Asia Holdings:
"...it is the group's intention, where possible, to make further partial realisations of this investment to provide funding for the group's additional ventures in the UK and other territories."
I don't want to see them selling off the best performing part of the business, and wondering if it might be used to prop up the weak bits. Also wondering if they might sell too cheap to get cash and avoid painful decisions.
Despite an operating loss of £2.2m I think Cellcast are very well placed to grow sustainable profits in the future. Encouragingly revenue increased by 5% in a tough market against a backdrop of changes to legislation making sales more expensive to secure. This looks to be a well-run company making savings where it can and off-setting the costs of new TV distribution channels against operating revenue rather than burdening the company with debts. Also, despite great profitability in their Asian counterpart these figures are driven solely by UK interactive TV revenue.
I have been watching this company for quite a while and despite the recently volatility of SP I think it is a strong buy for future growth, especially at under 7p/share.
Positive rise this week ,
looking good with the run into the results due in the next couple of weeks . NC seems to have stopped selling and their is a new investor .
How much profit will CAH make , they have continued to recruit significantly over the last couple of months .the 400% growth in profits at CAH has this been sustained or surpassed .Are the profits still obscene ?
CAH could be worth £30m to CLTV .
In the uk with new channels on freeview the revenues must have grown babestation appears to lead the market . Market cap is only c£4m . Looking for significant rises over the coming weeks this time their will be no false dawn . Surely this should be significantly higher than 6p ,
CAH continues to recruit and grow into new areas , they are currently looking at an interactive Auction & Shopping vertical .
In the uk cellcast stated closing months of 2009, revenues from new distribution are already indicatively tracking above our internal projections and our expectation . Babestation is now on freeview, as well as sky . THeir are 10million freeview boxes .
This has a multibagging potential it also carries significant risk .
Last week 60% rise followed by a fall back to 5p .
