Buying through Interactive Investor

You can buy a range of products through the Interactive Investor website. The size of our userbase means we negotiate with product providers to deliver highly attractive discounts and competitive deal. Look for the Buy or Apply boxes located on the homepage and the other key pages of the site.

For some financial products we will ask you to download an application form. The next step is to complete this by hand, write a cheque and post this to the product provider. In other cases you will be asked to enter your credit or debit card details online.

Security

When you enter banking or credit card information to purchase financial products at Interactive Investor, your details are safe. In line with other leading online financial services organisations we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt the communication channel between you and ourselves. The encryption strength will be between 40 bits and 128 bits - depending on your browser. You can upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 to give you 128 bit encryption (see www.microsoft.com for details). Internet Explorer 5.5 and Netscape Communicator 4.7 have this built in as standard.

For some of the financial and lifestyle products we offer, we form partnerships with the main brokers or providers which means you will transact directly with them. We take all reasonable measures action to ensure these third party sites are secure.
