UK Or International

You can select and invest in shares according to their geographical location. You can choose to invest in regions from the UK to the Far East and global emerging markets.

Even within a region such as the UK, you can choose to invest in large-cap funds (which focus on investing in large companies) or in specialist smaller companies funds, or anything in between.

Or you can invest in funds which specialise in these areas.

A Choice of sectors

You can invest within different sectors such as commodities, or in theme-based sectors such as technology or the pharmaceutical industry.

Funds: Income or growth

Most funds will focus on delivering either capital growth or income for the investor. Depending on your investment goals you can opt for either type of fund.

Funds: Lower, medium and higher risk funds

Funds are often categorised according to their risk profile, allowing you to opt for lower, medium or higher risk funds. For example, funds which invest in bonds are likely to have a lower risk profile than those which invest in equities in global emerging markets.
