Hi folks,
Just posted Part II of The Great Irish Share Valuation Project on my blog. I'm setting a Fair Value Price Target for every listed Irish company. So far I've valued 2 dozen companies, including Fyffes: http://wexboy.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/the-great-irish-share-valuation-project-ii/ I hope you'll take a look (plse don't hesitate to comment/email me), and perhaps become a regular reader. Cheers, Wexboy |

You are here: Home > Davy Research > Davy Research Report Fyffes (FFY ID) Increases full-year guidance 12 May 2011 Aiden O' Donnell Closing Price: 42c Rating: Outperform 27/01/11 Previous: Neutral 18/02/10 FACTS: In its AGM statement, issued this morning (May 12th), Fyffes increased its full-year adjusted EBITA target range to 20-24m, from 17-22m. We were forecasting 19.7m for the full year. ANALYSIS: Strong pricing, driven by tight supplies in Latin America, has boosted banana profits year-to-date and this increase is behind the upgrade to full-year forecasts today. From our tracking of EU banana prices and peer results, we expected Fyffes to note strong trading conditions. It is encouraging to see that the company is also benefitting from operational efficiencies from some of the investments it made in recent years. DAVY VIEW: Given the increase in company guidance and the strong underlying market conditions that persist in the sector, we will move our numbers higher today, most likely to above the midpoint of the new range. We reiterate our 'outperform' rating. http://www.davy.ie/LR?id=729 |
