Where to find things on the new platform

interactive investor has completed the acquisition of TD Direct Investing and now serve all our customers on our new, feature-rich platform.

All changes take some getting used to – so here is a quick guide to what has changed for customers who have moved platform, and where to find things now.

Two logins

Trading customers (those with trading accounts, ISAs, SIPPs and JISAs) have been moved to the new platform and can log in here

Research account users (those who use the virtual portfolio service, post on discussion boards or subscribe to Quotestream) can log in here

If you want to use both the trading platform and the research account, you need to log in to each of your accounts separately.

Where are things on the new trading account platform?

Here is where to find the things that are important to you including a video tour of your account (you need to be logged in to see these pages):

For more videos on how to use your account, click here.

Account overview – on login you will find an overview of all your accounts

Investments overview by account – click on ‘view investments’ in the overview table to see your investments in each account.

Document history

Your new platform has a library of all the documents related to your previous account.

Transaction history, contract notes and annual statements (transactions before 10th December 2017) – transaction history from the previous platform has been uploaded to your new account in PDF format – one document per tax year – along with contract notes from this tax year, and previous years’ annual statements.

You can find this under account -> document history (filter by “Migrated Documents”)

This is also where to look for contract notes, statements, corporate action notifications, consolidated tax certificates and other documents going forward.

Transaction history – for all transaction from 10th December 2017 onwards are under portfolio - > transaction history

Secure messages
