Re: Trading patterns

Interesting GM, I have seen this before once with GWP where there were many more smaller 'O' trades that went through, which did influence the SP down.

However, today it would appear most of these trades were 'AT' ( Automated Trades), triggered by computer due to the general drop in Stocks due to ... Greece, Spain, Ireland, Italy (ie; the Euro), Israel v Iran, Banks, Unemployment, etc., etc.

It would also appear the larger trades were Buys, where in fairly thin trading GWP must be viewed worth buying as an investment for when times pick up.

I wll not be selling at current levels and looking to invest further should the price fall much lower, to represent a good longer term purchase.

Trading patterns

Over last couple of days, seems there are some very odd trading patterns, as if someone is trying (and successfully it seems) to force the price down with lots of little sales all in succession, but this is then followed by some fairly large buys that restore the price back to the days start point. Anybody any usefuil thoughts on this please? By geoffmango

There's a warning about the form of fraud that's being mentioned. It's on the GWP website:
Your name and address comes from the share register and from that they find your 'phone number.
It's all an attempt to get enough data from you to crack your bank details. By WengerF

No idea of the how's and why's, thats why I asked the question if anyone else had had a similar call.
I agree it does sound like a wind up but it isnt any of my mates because I dont broadcast what I own,
The woman who called had an american/asian accent and called twice, once in the day while I was at work (wife took call) and later when I got in from work. !!!!
As you say who would turn down such a profit.

Lord Gypsum,
How would they get your phone number?
Why are they offering you a price in $ (USD) and not £ (GBP)?
Why offer such a wide difference in price $3 and $6. As if you would say no at 600%+ profit.

Sounds like a wind up. You have nice mates .

Anybody else had a call?

Hi All

Just had a random call from a co acting on the behalf of someone wishing to own a majority shareholding. They asked me if I would be prepared to sell at a price between $3 & $6!
Confused now. Is it a scam or a plan to buy on the cheap?
I'd be interested in other opinions or other experiences.
I've held GWP for several years now and grown attached to them and would like to be in on the share price boom not sell out too early, then again wouldnt we all!

Nice rise before tomorrows news

Yes indeed sherlock, but given the source of the medication, it should of course come as no surprrise that twaddle regularly appears from various fakes, deviants and hippies.
A few regular contributors, including myeself, have found it proves best just to ignore rather than go into contention over it as that seems to do little or no more than feed their need to be noticed. No easy though, as the twadlle often detracts from otherwise useful discussion. By geoffmango
