“Biomass fuel feedstocks will comprise wood fuel in the form of virgin wood fibre, recycled wood and energy crops together with other biomass material including Solid Recovered Fuel, residues from processing cereals and oilseeds, all supplied in the form of loose material, chips, pellets or briquettes, that qualify as renewable fuels under the provisions of the Renewables Obligation 2009. The plant will not use domestic or hospital waste, hazardous waste or liquid biomass, for example vegetable oils.”

Also the majority of the fuel will be shipping in rather than by road.

I will not be investing a penny here. I advised to sell HEGY a couple of years ago when the price was 50% higher. I am only suprised that the SP as only dropped by half. HEGY have some good projects, but they should not throw their money away on duds like this one. I see the big buyers were out again yesterday, follow the money.

In the results I see Helius are looking to change the plans for Southampton into a CHP plant. This has two affect's, 1: It may be more acceptable to the locals, 2: It attracts a higher ROC at 2

With another 200MW possible this means Helius could be up to 408MW not bad for a £14M company.
