Fingers crossed that something can be salvaged if you are a poor shareholder who bought into the vision, and got left in today's fog. I can genuinely and completely say - not my fault. Contract Win with the World Bank and 2012 Revenue Visibility

Imaginatik plc (AIM: IMTK.L), a leading provider of innovation management software and consultancy, is pleased to announce the signing of an annual licence deal with the World Bank, an international development organisation that provides financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world.

The contract increases Imaginatik's revenue visibility for the year ending 31 March 2012, being annually recurring revenue plus innovation-as-a-service projects, to over $4m, an increase of over 25% from this time last year.

The contract is initially for one year with the option of two additional years, and consists of an initial licence with annually recurring support and maintenance fees, plus additional project fees. The World Bank has selected Imaginatik to provide a competition management platform and services to its employees. Imaginatik's innovation services team will design, run and oversee a number of innovation events across the client's organisation each year.

Contract Win

Imaginatik plc (AIM: IMTK.L), a leading provider of innovation management software and consultancy, is pleased to announce the signing of an annual software license with a leading US-based provider of pharmacy and clinical research services. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

This contract is the conversion of a pilot project. Under the terms of the agreement, Imaginatik will deliver its Idea Central software via a hosted environment to enable 24,000 of the customer's employees to access and participate in the company's innovation initiative.

Contract Wins and Trading Update

Imaginatik plc (AIM: IMTK.L), a leading provider of innovation management software and consultancy, is pleased to announce the signing of an annual license with Yara International ASA, the world's leading chemical company that converts energy, natural minerals and nitrogen into essential products for farmers and industrial customers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Imaginatik's Idea Central innovation platform will be deployed within the organisation to drive multiple innovation initiatives across the entire company, utilising Imaginatik's experience and expertise with its "Assisted Innovation" advisory support services offering.

Imaginatik is also pleased to announce two further Innovation-as-a-Service contracts with two of the world's leading insurance and pharmaceutical businesses. Imaginatik's professional services team will run Innovation Events for the two businesses, facilitating collaborative innovation across the thousands of employees of the two multinational businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed.

In addition to the two Innovation-as-a-Service contracts which were announced at the same time as the Company's Interim Results in December 2010, these contracts are further evidence of the growing success of this strategic shift in focus towards the provision of outsourced innovation services.

Imaginatik's recurring revenue base has increased as a result of these contracts, providing a strong foundation for future growth. While the Board is encouraged by the growing sales momentum, it expects that revenues for the year ending 31 March 2011 will be lower than those in the previous financial year and that the Company will record a loss for the second half of the year and for the year overall.

We are delighted to report that the customer base has returned to growth, contributing to the Group's recurring revenue base. No, It turned out that an individual within the company had struck on a bright idea. This guy had worked out that safety barriers were being vandalised at such a rate that in certain areas a totally different approach was required.
His idea gave birth to the ground cover plate which can be attached through various locking methods to either pipe or groundworkings. Our job was to fabricate a prototype from planks of timber.
After several months of trials and improvements the eventual plastic cover, now used by all utility companies was born.
BG were lucky that they had someone to press this idea forward and not let it go. There were many times when without leadership this simple idea could have been lost. Makes you wonder just how many more are lost!
I would guess that many millions of pounds have been saved here. And many million more earned through its marketing.
So the next time you see a pedestrian cover over an excavation...it was me who put that very first nail into the original board!
