PURE GOLD

Invest in Pure Wafer and this is what you get(working on £1/US$1.6):-

Market Cap ........................................£5.3million

Shareholder Equity(heavily depreciated but still)..£14 million

Annualized EBITDA(strongly rising trend)...........£3.69million

Annualized CASH GENERATION(rising strongly)........£3.75million

Net borrowing(reducing by £3.7 in last 12 months)..£9.6million

Revenues and margins improving across all three divisions.

Depreciation and amortization provisioning due to fall dramatically.

Net debt forecast to be EXTINGUISHED in just 38 months

Industry outlook for all three divisions said to be highly promising.Given a successful outcome of the A4B project, added to other ongoing significant progress being made towards improving the performance of solar photovoltaic cells, and future exceptional growth within the solar division would appear assured.

As finance costs, depreciation and amortization levels fall, whilst revenues and profits increase,EBITDA will commence translating directly into announced net profitability, allowing PUR to offset these profits against previous substantial losses, for tax purposes.

In my view Pure Wafer could, indeed should, be generating net profits of up to £5million per annum in the shorter medium term.producing earnings of around 4pence per share, underscoring my price target,36 months out, of 50 pence.Even if this proves optimistic, there remains much room for capital appreciation.

IMO PURE WAFER continues to represent a tremendous investment opportunity.

A PURE GEM !!

What an unappreciated gem of a company PureWafer has become.
Not many outfits can increase revenues by 30%,yet at the same time throw off US$3million in CASH over a 6month period.Add to that EBITDA of a similar amount and we can look forward to some interesting full year results.
Cash in the bank increased to US$1454k(949)whilst total debt fell to US$16,511k(19,865k).
PUR is aggressively depreciating/amortising its fixed assets at circa 20%pa.,so any future announced profits will be significantly enhanced as financing costs, depreciation and amortisation adjustments rapidly decline.
Market Cap is still only £5million.
As a bonus there is a large seller dumping currently, meaning that stock can be bought at just 4.10pence.
Not for day traders but a company in which to invest, imo.
I see the SP well exceeding 20 pence on an 18 month view. By floman

I've just tucked this one away. Again sitting on a paper loss albeit not massive in comparison to some other investments. Would be nice just to see the company do well and grow. A profit would be nice too!

Recent rise

Maybe today's announcement explains the rise. Pity that a profit is not being forecast for the year end, although the strong reduction in losses in a period that reportedly included a difficult quarter is encouraging. I am sitting on a hefty loss, albeit it has reduced significantly recently. I agree with the comments about holding for the longhaul. By sturoym6

In the last year the share price has fallen nearly 33%. I'm down 23.9%. It's nice to see a rise but until there is any news I wouldn't get over excited.
A good stock IMO but one for the long-term I think. If you're looking for a quick buck then maybe oil is your bag. By inv91422

Re: recent rise

Not sure what the normal market size is for this stock and therefore not sure how many you are looking to buy which could account for why you go to n/t.

Also, this is not a liquid stock - e.g. to trade in and out so this issue will in most cases exist aswell as a large spread. Whilst I do not like n/t I have on occasion gone down this route but would always try an avoid.

Re: Recent rise

For what its worth my view for the increase is as follows:

1) trading update was good
2) new directorate
3) risk appetite is back across the market (for now!)
4) the stok has been overlooked and punished severely
5) seller stopped selling and buyers return

Thanks

Regret

Somebody is going to regret that big sell thismorning as the market is starting to recover a bit after the fear this morning.

I always find it strange that the market reports come out about 8.05, hardly enough time to know where the markets should be heading.
Perhaps the BBC in particular should restrain from airing their view on why the markets change and just report the numbers after close of business.

Having said that, it they want to promote the potentially huge technology improvement in Pure Wafer/solar, I'd be happy with that.
